Hello listmates.

Just wanted to update everyone on the results of my gluten challenge and
blood test. I had to stop the challenge early as I was having too many
of the old symptoms return. I was getting to the point of having what I
guess what many have described as "brain fog". During the challenge I
would sit in front of my computer at work and could not figure out just
what exactly I was supposed to be doing. It was not pleasant and I
decided to stop early even though I thought that it might change the
blood test results.Well, the results are in as of today and I show
negative for wheat allergy and negative for gluten intolerance.
Although I don't know anymore what I really have, it does not make
much difference. I know now what I can eat and what I can't eat and
adjust my eating habits to that. I'm feeling great again after going
back on my usual no wheat/corn/milk/egg/preservative diet. You know
what was funny though, when I was gorging myself on the forbidden foods
of pizza, bread, cakes, donuts, cookies for a few days, I did not really
enjoy it even though it took a few days for me to tell that it was
affecting me. I'm really glad to be back on the things that I really do
enjoy eating-the wheat free, gluten free breads, cookies, pasta. Maybe
I'll never know for sure what the problem is, but I know enough about
my condition to avoid the things that hurt me. Thank you all for your
support and I'll continue to be a part of this list.
