Thanks to all who responded.
Five respondents said the hydolized wheat protein will not go through the nail.  One suggested to watch out for getting it on the skin if you have DH, and of course, you shouldn't keep your hands away from your mouth.
One respondent said it can get through the nails.
Two said they err on the caution side and wouldn't use it.
Two others suggested vitamins as a substitute--B-complex or Botin to help strengthen nails.
