There were a few comments that were sent to me after I sent out the
initial summary a couple days ago. I would like to forward them to
everyone.

One person recommended additional folic acid and the amount was 400
mcg/day.

Someone else recommended the prescription Iron Complex Cap 150 mg
(polysaccharide iron complex) from Pecos Pharmacy which is gluten free
as well as Nature's Plus Nutri-Genic vitamins (says right on bottle they
are gluten free), from GNC.

As usual, a strict gluten free diet is important and one list member
helped raise her iron levels by eating high iron chicken livers and
hearts and cooking in cast iron.

Thank you for your recommendations, you have all been very helpful.

Rita
