I just read in Bill Vellios' posting that he suffers from "sarcoid
of the lungs".

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but it that the same as
Sarcoidosis - a problem where crystals form in the joints and lungs
causing immense discomfort and shortness of breath?

I ask because firstly, I have coeliac disease, which I think I may
have inherited from my mothers side of the family, and secondly she
was diagnosed about 18 months ago with sarcoidosis.

Is there a link? I haven't read anywhere of the two being related,
but Sarcoidosis appears to be another auto-immune disease. Does
anyone
