I'll certainly pass your comments on.  I can understand your concern.  We
actually hear from many individuals who also have celiac disease.

Ingredient labeling, as anything else will be an evolving situation!

  Thank you for your respsonse.  If it is from corn I would urge your
company to change their labeling to say corn starch.  Modified food starch
is a giant red flag for the ever expanding group of us with celiac disease.
Usually I will not purchase a product if it has modified food starch as an
ingredient.  I think in the next few years as more about this condition
comes out and it is found that about 1 in 200 people of European decent has
this condition, clearer labeling practices will be required or products will
sit on the shelves.  If the labeling is left as modified food starch does
that mean that your company could change the starch origin at any time?
This would be very dangerous to celiacs as we would have various reactions
from mild the severe lasting several days.  I truly appreciate your response
and will enjoy your product.  I ask these questions to have the company
think about the effects a very minor imgredient would have on a growing
group of people.  Again thank you and if I can be of any further assistence

    Dear Reesa,

    The modified food starch you refer to is made from corn, so you need not
worry about any Gluten there.  Plus, our flavor companies have assured us
there are no Gluten ingredients in the flavoring for KettleMania.
