I contacted the company this week which has taken over the remainder of
the Welbilt breadmakers since Welbilt has gone out of business. I love
my Welbilt breadmaker and wanted to get one for my daughter, who is also
celiac. Her husband just had surgery for thyroid cancer and he can't
have iodine, so he can only eat homemade bread. I was trying to find a
breadmaker and order an extra bread pan, so they can use it for both GF
and wheat bread.

The name of the company with the Welbilt machines is Salton. Their web
site is www.salton-maxim.com and they have an outlet store in Great
America, Illinois (phone: 888-889-0899).

I have no connection with this company, and I had never heard of them
until today, but I cannot say enough good about them. They bent over
backwards to help me. The person I talked to is Kim at the outlet store.
She understood my need for GF bread and was very understanding. They
have only a few of the Welbilt machines left, but they also carry some
other brands, and they have a recipe for GF bread on their web site.
I just wanted to pass on this information about a celiac-friendly
company.
