I have "gluten-sensitive enteropathy" and understand it can affect how my body
absorbs essential nutrients from food. Can such malabsorption affect one's
ligaments? The reason I'm asking is because I had foot surgery last summer
and my podiatrist said the ligament being treated was "unusually thick." I
continue to have discomfort in both feet, although in different areas than
before.

Also, is cottage cheese a "safe" food? I've seen cheese mentioned in general,
but not cottage cheese.

Thank you!
