Sorry for the disgusting topic.

Do we need to worry about gluten content of yeast infection medicines that 
are NOT taken by mouth?  For instance Monistat or Mycelex?

The reason I ask, Mycelex 3 used to be on the gluten free drugs list, and 
now it's not... so is it not gf or do we not need to worry about it?  That 
region of the body IS a mucous membrane so it's possible it absorbs into the 
body, but it needs to come into contact with the small intestine to do 
damage......

I'm desperate for an answer!!!  Have you all used the various OTC products 
with success?  HELP!
