My daughter ordered a Mint Mocha Chip Frappucino and had a reaction. The
sign on the counter listed the ingredients so she thought it was safe. The
chocolate chips are from a cookie but it is not listed as such. I just spoke
with customer relations and they sincerely apologized adding that the Java
Chip and Mocha Chip both contain gluten but all of the other selections are
GF. I suggested that they use the word cookie or brownie on the sign that
lists the ingredients.
She has been drinking Frappucinos for more than one year and has never had a
problem. I am sure she will ask in the future. When I order one for her I
always ask to have the blender washed to avoid cross contamination.
Starbucks is sending us some coupons and will try to have the signage
changed to indicate gluten containing ingredients.
Kathy
