After 9 years as a celiac you'ld think I would know how to handle all
situations that arise. But no. I went to a girlfriend's house yesterday to
give her a computer lesson on her new computer. She went to 'alot' of
trouble to make us a fancy gluten free lunch. It was wonderful and I felt
fairly confident....meaning only short moments of terror.:)!! I didn't even
get home before I was sick. What are we to do in these situations? I
usually pack my own stuff or don't visit over a meal time. This was
unexpected and she had been so kind....I feel so down ( and sick) this am.
I would be sooo embarrased if she found out I had been sick.Any advice??
Just having short moments of self-pity. :) Dianne in BC
