I just thought I'd share a fun GF recipe for 4th of July cookies in case you were also looking for something to have with your BBQ - we made the dough last night, then refrigerated it and I am making the cookies this morning and they are very yummy.  The recipe is from Southern Living and not intended to be GF - but it happens to be and it's easy and fun for the kids (we couldn't find 4th of July M and M's so my kids had fun picking out all the red and blue ones from a large bag!).
