Hello out there,

Thank you to all who responded to my previous e-mail regarding the timing
of weight gain.

I hope you don't mind if I ask additional questions?

To those of you who have had difficulty gaining weight , may I ask ,
How hard have you tried?

I ask this because I had found that prior to my diagnosis I had a
tremendous decrease in desire for food. It is still not a great desire
on my part to eat, only the fact that I have a great nag for a friend
and that I have a baby to think of has made me eat. I think that I have
tried to eat well and beef up on the protein. Still, I wonder since I
am not gaining weight, how much is it that I am still healing (thus
physiological) and how much is it that I am not eating as much as I
think I am ( thus psycological). I know you cant answer for me my own
dilemma, but I can't get a complete picture of other's experiences
with weight gain or lack thereof without knowing whether it has been
something that they have really tried hard to do.

If you wouldn,t mind answering , I would deeply appreciate it.

Thanks
