I take the opportunity of the recent post related to the object for
submitting a question related to breast feeding as my brother's wife has had
a baby late march.

The pediatrician indeed suggested to further delay the introduction of
gluten (still for some months) being the uncle (me) celiac.

The question is: if celiac is a genetic disease my niece has it
unfortunately or she has not hopefully, so what is the benefit of introducing
gluten with delay ? Just to delay the discovery of the illness ?

Thanks for the clarification.
Regards
