I was diagnosed by blood test only as having CD in October. I have been for
the most part GF. I did ingest gluten a couple of weeks ago and was sorry I
did. My son developed chicken pox and once he was healed I got a herpetic
type cluster on my temple. There are many medical reasonings. It could be
atypical shingles...it only itches, no pain or it could be an atypical
chicken pox..even though I had it as a child. One nite when I was scratching
it dawned on me that there is a possibility it could be DH.

I have read everything I can find on it and am planning to see my doctor, but
before I do can anyone tell me if this is unusual? to get a DH outbreak for
the first time after going GF and ingesting gluten.

I apprecite your time and any advice you can give me regarding my upcoming dr
visit.
