>Trader Joe's in San Diego just dropped carrying gluten free Ultimate
>Biscotti. DARN! I loved that stuff.

You can purchase Ultimate Biscotti online at: http://www.ultimatebiscotti.com/
[they are awesome, aren't they? <drool> Especially the chocolate-dipped
hazelnut, a personal fave.]

Speaking of cookies ... I got a sample of F.T. Loa cookies in the mail ...
The peanut butter was darn tasty as was the chocolate chip ...
http://www.ftloacookies.com/ .. The fudge brownie I thought had a wee
bit of an aftertaste -- but I did get a cold a few days later, so it could
have just been me.

And speaking of colds. I called the fine folks at Sundown Vitamins
about their Echinacea & Goldenseal cold complex ... 1-888-vita-help ...
spoke with Justin ... their label does say free of wheat .... Justin
really knew his stuff ... he said "well, maltodextrin can be a problem
it you are gluten free, let me check that out ... " ... and came back
to report that their maltodextrin is derived from corn. Their zinc
lozenges are also GF ... I asked if *all* vitamins were GF and Justin
said "always best to call and double check, I don't want to give
you incorrect information."
