HI! I too have skin problems as my primary complaint. I have always had
atopic dermatitis, especially since I am a veterinarian allergic to dogs,
cats, rabbits, horses...(and no, allergy shots really aren't helpful if you
have A. D.) Anyway, when my skin got totally out of control and I went for
testing, I skin tested pos. for gluten. Although from what I have learned
here, it is not an ideal test, I have noticed improvement in all body
systems and my greeneral attitude since going GF 3 months ago, as well as
with my skin. Even though I don't have a thourough diagnosis, I am sticking
with this, as my response has been so positive. This list has been a
lifesaver!!!! Incidentally-the allergy self-help Cookbook is a great
resource (by MArjorie Jones). IF you don't have it, check it out! Best
wishes to all-MArne ([log in to unmask] Montclair, NJ)
