Guest Speaker - Cheryl Leslie, RD

Cheryl Leslie, a registered dietitian, understands the challenges of eating healthy on a gluten-free diet.  Cheryl is the mother of two children with celiac disease - and one with CD and diabetes - and maintains a totally gluten-free household.  In her presentation, "Healthy Eating on a Gluten-Free Diet," Cheryl will share her real-world and professional experience of how to eat gluten-free without compromising good nutrition.

Topics to be covered include:
- Why you may be missing out on essential nutrients on a gluten-free diet
- Understanding the nutrition and gluten-free labeling
- How to manage the diet outside of the home
- Hints for the holidays
