Here is one more possible cause of headaches:
   
  "Polycythmia can also cause headaches -- this is an autosomal dominant
disorder where you make too many red blood cells or don't break down 
the old ones so the blood gets too high a concentration of iron/red cells...
The treatment is to donate blood several times a year and reduce iron
intake."
