Hello,

My 7 year old has Celiac disease.

I have never given my 4 year old gluten. My 4 year old developed horrible
hives this week and after going to the urgent care last night because of
joint pain and swelling with the hives and fever they called it "serum
sickness" and treated it with prescription benadryl and steroids.

I am reading about serum sickness and wondering if gluten exposure could
cause such a reaction???

Anyone have any experience with this? I know there is DH associated with
celiac.

thanks,
Suzanne
