When you buy pork chops... do you buy them already packaged? at the meat
counter? or do you special order them?

The reason I'm asking... after my daughter was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago,
I was told that all pork is injected... unless you get the butcher to
order it specifically for you. So, I had them order me pork.

As far as chicken is concerned: I only buy it from the meat
counter/butcher block or I buy the Tyson breasts in the bag from Sam's.
Do any of you just buy it already packaged at your grocery store?

As far as ground beef is concerned: I only buy it from the meat
counter/butcher block. The butcher at my local grocery store
(Albertson's) said that he can guarantee me that it is 100% beef. He said
that the prepackaged meat (that they get from an outside supplier) is
supposed to be 100% beef...but he can't guarantee it.

Just wondering how all of you buy your meats... especially the pork chops.
Also, do you stick with one store that you have discussed gluten with...
or do you feel free to buy your meat anywhere?

SO... butcher block/meat counter? special order on the pork? prepackaged?

Thanks!
