Glutamine is an amino acid and is unrelated to gluten (except that it is
one of the building blocks of almost all  proteins).    Since the smallest
antigen contains many proteins it is not possible to have an immune reation
to glutamine **per se**.       IF, however,  the glutamine has gluten
associated with it (food additive to prevent caking, etc.) during
manufacture it is quite possible that gultamine  ***as an added
ingredient*** is causing you problems (because of accompanying additives!).
Glutamine as a natural part of foods would not be causing you
*immune base* problems PER SE    although large amounts of it could cause
you problems if you have a metabolic defect related to glutamine (this
would, as far as is known, be unrelated to celiac).
