In reading the comment about Edy's/Dreyer's Ice Cream I have a question...

While I lived in California Edy's and Dreyer's Ice Cream was available.
Now that I live in Virginia the stores have Edy's and Breyer's Ice Cream.
Does anyone know if Breyer's and Dreyer's are the same?  I'm trying to
figure out if Breyer's has gluten free flavors like Dreyer's does.
