Hi Group!

I had a great experience at a diner on Long Island. When I went into the
whole GF thing, the waiter got a little nervous and called over the owner. I
thought..."here we go again" When the owner came over, he went over what I
wanted and told me the ingredients and listened patiently to what was required. He
even went into the kitchen and scrubbed the grill himself. I later told him
there is a restaurant awareness program, and he said he would be very
interested in that!!! However, I don't know how to go about arranging that! Maybe
some of you great people out there can help. I told him I was sure there were
people on the Island who would be happy to know he was willing to accommodate
our needs. Make sure you ask for "Mike". The diner is:

The Empress Diner (Mike is the owner and the man to see)
2490 Hempstead Turnpike
East Meadow, NY 11554

Any of you involved with that restaurant program, he is willing!!!
