Thanks to all who replied.

Weight gain appears to be a "hot topic" and virtually everyone who
replied has the same problem.

A few replies were posted to this list, so I won't repeat them here. The
general feeling from those who replied directly to me are as follows:

1) GF flours and other products are higher in calories than non GF
products.
2) Those on GF diets tend to eat more carbohydrates which turn into
sugar and ultimately turns into fat.
3) We're finally retaining nutrients which makes it harder to keep
weight off. It means we need to cut back quantities even if it means
eating less than we were before we were diagnosed.
4) We're afraid there may not be anything GF to eat when we go out
causing us to overeat.
5) Before diagnosis, we could eat larger portions and not have to worry
about gaining weight. We need to cut back on portions.
6) And of course, EXERCISE is a must.
7) Only one person who replied has the opposite problem and can't seem
to gain weight.
