Thank you for all your interest in my cortocosteroid question.  My
pulmonolgist wants me to take pred and I don't wanna.  To summarize
both answers that came through Bill Villous computer because mine has
an incompetent operator:
Prednisone causes cataracts and osteoporosis amd it doesn't wait
around for a year or two,  it starts immediately.
Linda Holmes said she had severe complications from pred with her
bones and Jerry Walter was legally blind three weeks after starting
the stuff.  Five months later both hips had to be replaced.
Wow
I guess my doctor won't be prescribing pred for me.
Years ago I read that diabetes was a complication from
cortocosteroids but no one has mentioned that.  I'm surprised -- are
you?
