Has anyone experience with this vegetable? Is it a suitable alternative for
GF spaghetti?

In the US, this is called Spaghetti Squash. It's quite tasty, and in my
pre-gluten-intolerance days, I used to eat it with spaghetti and tomato
sauce. It could, however, be eaten with just the spahetti sauce. It's not
like wheat spaghetti at all, but it is a nice vegetable. I wouldn't call it
slimy <S>.
