Hi, everyone,

I had a question from a small company that's interested in making
gluten-free vinegar: is there any chemical test available that they
can use on their product to feel comfortable in labeling it gluten-free?
Perhaps a food lab of some sort that does that kind of testing?? Or
maybe a test they can purchase and run for themselves?

They will be substituting apple cider vinegar (naturally gluten free)
for the distilled vinegar (gluten containing) they currently use. Maybe
their only alternative is to make sure that they thoroughly remove
the distilled vinegar from their equipment before they prepare and
bottle the gluten free product??

Thanks in advance,
Nancy
