According to my CCA pocket dictionary Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil is a
modified oil from vegetable sources and is ALLOWED. Is this not true? I
never even considered it might be. Anyone with any info, since as the
writer says I see this ingredient in A LOT of foods, would be much appreciated.

I also just called the CCA and they are in the process of re-writing the
pocket dictionary and say the HVO has not changed and is still allowed.
