Recently a few messages have come across the list about food
sensitivities and probiotics. I have a few questions.
1. Blood tests were mentioned for diagnosing these additional food
intolerances. I had one of these blood tests - it was very expensive and
it was wrong. Some of the results were accurate - things I had already
identified as reacting to; however, MANY of the supposedly safe foods I
reacted to. I have currently identified 30 foods (including salt) that I
seem to be OK with. It would certainly be nice to eat more than that. I
do not have a job and I do not have health insurance so I do not wish to
pay a ton of money for more tests. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please do not write back if you are going to mention some other severely
restrictive diet - I can not afford to take any more foods out of my
diet.

2. Several people have mentioned the importance of taking probiotics to
help with this. I react to them. I not only react to the yeast, but I
react to the actual probiotic bacteria themselves. Does anyone have any
suggestions to help with this?
Please do not yell at me to take various other supplements - I have for
quite some time been taking digestive enzymes, fish oil, l-glutamine and
various vitamins and minerals - all of which I have found brands that I
do not react to.
Please, helpful suggestions only
Thanks
Diane
