In our group in Phoenix, someone made the suggestion to me to google the name of the city I was going to and then "gluten free restaurants"  So it would look like this:

"San Diego, Gluten free restaurants"

It was very helpful and I got a ton of answers.  I hope it works out there for all you world travelers!!  Be safe.
