Hi..I gave blood many times over the past years before being diagnosed with
CD.  I asked at the Red Cross if CD would prevent further donations, and was
told it would not, as CD is not a blood disease.  After adhering to the GF
diet, my iron returned to normal and I have since donated blood with no
problem for me, and no objections by the Red Cross.
