Costco sells a Sweet Italian Sausage that is just wonderful.

In a call to the Garden State Sausage Co. in Hawthorne, New Jersey, who makes
the sausage, I was informed that there is no wheat or gluten in the product
and it is made fresh first thing in the morning before other products are
used on the line.

The gentlemen I spoke with says the greatest amount of calls he gets are about
gluten and was familiar with celiac. He said the celiac calls outnumbered the
dairy, egg and other products to which people may be allergic.

I have no personal or financial interest in the company.
