I wrote GFA Brands regarding their Smart Beat/Smart Balance (margarines,
mayonaise, etc--low/no cholesterol, low trans-fat, etc products).
Several of their margarines are also df.

They promptly responded on 7-11-2000 stating:
"We are happy to be able to advise you that all products in the Smart
Beat and Smart Balance lines are gluten free."

Hope this helps anyone trying to watch their cholesterol/fat intake.
