Dear Listserve,

I am writing from Chebe Bread Products with questions for those who have experimented in preparing Chebe Bread mix by replacing the eggs with gelatin and/or egg replacer. Some people have been successful while others have not. Therefore, we are trying to build a consensus of the best way to prepare the Chebe mix for those who cannot have eggs. We would like to post any successful methods, and the caveats, on our website.

We would appreciate it if you could give us some feedback. Please let us know:

a) If you were successful in replacing the egg;
b) What were the specific measures and method you used to make it work. Please describe how the final product appeared.

This information will be much appreciated by those who are trying to prepare Chebe Bread but cannot use egg.

Your reply, even if it was unsuccessful, is valued.

Sincerely,
Dick Reed
