For those of you with a Wegmans Market in your area I am sure you are familiar with the new Wellness Key Food Labeling Program. Wegmans Markets are currently located throughout portions of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and soon to open in Maryland and Virginia.

These easy-to-recognize "dots" on Wegmans products show Diabetes Exchanges,Lactose Free,Gluten Free and much more. This program takes much of the worry out of shopping and is especially valuable to those on a gluten free diet.

In a recent conversation with a Wegmans employee i was informed that Wegmans has not had enough positive feedback and is considering cancellation of this valuable program. You can help keep this program alive by contacting Wegmans Consumer Affairs Department @ 1-800-wegmans (934-6267 ext.4760 and let them know how much we need and appreciate the Wellness Keys and that the program must continue.
