1.  Most, but not all, reported periodic blood testing (the same as the
diagnostic tests). The periods between tests ranged from 6 to 18
months.

2.  Monitoring of growth patterns

3.  Regular check-ups (but not necessarily more frequent than for a
healthy non-celiac child)

4.  Some MD's advocate a gluten challenge and re-biopsy, but if the child
is a diagnosed celiac who has shown improvement on the diet, why
bother?

5.  Most important, watch for symptoms of gluten ingestion.
