I have a huge problem!! and it is urgent!! I am a nordic skiier for a D-1
College team and I just started a GF diet. For any Nordic skiier it is a
challenge to get enough food. Your matabolism is through the roof!! and I
am used to filling up on things like bagels and pasta, so now i need other
foods!! I was wondering if there were other intense athletes out there, or
even a specialist that could tell me what sorts of foods an athlete needs
and how I can get them through a gf diet. I don't even know the portions of
different things a normal person needs, I just figured out what made me ski
the fastest and what would fill me up ( bagels and pasta) now I am lost!!! I
am starting to hear that higher protein is better for you, but all the big
cheeses in skiing insist of lots of carbs still... help!!

thanks
Anna
