Thanks for all your responses.  Unfortunately, there is no firm
consensus on whether McCann's Oatmeal is GF.  A number of  you said you
wouldn't touch the oats because McCann's does not guarantee that they
are totally free from contamination.  However, one person indicated that
McCann's refusal (or inability?) to make such a guarantee was for legal
reasons, and someone indicated that it was tied up with international
agreements (NAFTA).  However, a number of folks say they eat the oats
with no problems--one eats them only occasionally, but some eat them all
the time and have had no problem.  I think I will try them--carefully at
first!
