Hello,

My wife and I are planning a backcountry canoe trip later this year. I looked
at some of the dehydrated food packages in our local outdoor store yesterday
and noticed that while most of the ingredients were OK, a lot of the entrees
contained Soy Sauce and many others were totally unacceptable: wheat flour,
noodles...etc.

Everything we've read highly reccomend complete abstinence from all gluten so
obviously we are hesitant to take any step back after all the progress she
has made.

The local store's supply is really limited so it's difficult to verify what's
GF and what isn't. I can't even get a feel for which manufacturers may be a
better source.

Other than dehydrating our own food for the trip does anyone have any other
suggestions or sources for GF backpacking food ?

Thanks ahead of time for your responses. BTW, this list has been a tremendous
help - thanks to everyone that makes it possible.

Chuck
