Hi Members,

I am so happy to announce that we will be having our next meeting of the
Kitsap/Olympic Peninsula Gluten Intolerance Group on March 14th in the
Auditorium at Jefferson Health Care on 834 Sheridan St. in Port Townsend, WA. (It is
next to Manresa Castle). Our program will be the Celiac 101 course which I
have held in other cities and will run from 1-5pm and will cost $5 per person.
The cost is for the handouts which are necessary for the course.
The course is open to all people, including healthcare personnel. It will
start at diagnosis and follow through to, and including, the gluten free diet.
Whether you have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease or feel the need for the
diet, this is a very informative class that all have found interesting.

Please put this date on your calendar and plan on bringing a friend. If you
plan on attending the meeting, I would love to hear from you as it makes it
easier for me to plan on the packets and space.

Another date to put on your calendar is June 5th and 6th for the 2009 GIG
Annual Education Conference. It will be at the SeaTac Marriott at the Airport
and you can find all current details on the website _www.gluten.net_
(http://www.gluten.net) or telephone the GIG Office at 253-833-6655 or call me. This
is a rare occasion that the conference is in Seattle. If you have been making
it an annual event or have never been, plan on the dates as the meeting
contains a wealth of information for anyone requiring the gluten free diet.

To start your New Years off right, be sure to join The Gluten Intolerance
Group of North America and help celebrate our 35th Anniversary with your
support. Just go to _www.gluten.net_ (http://www.gluten.net) and sign up or call
the office. We must be strong and have one national voice to raise money and
awareness.

I hope your New Year is starting out like a lamb and remember if you have
any questions about the diet or any other phase of gluten intolerance please
don't hesitate to call me.
