Hi ~

  My 22 month old son most likely has celiac disease.  He had one abnormal blood panel (processed at prometheus), and had further workup - endoscopy and biopsies which has listed "unspecified/nonecific gastritis".  Both of my parents as well as my younger brother are celiac.  My son has been on a gluten free diet as well as caloric supplements since October 2006.  He is still not gaining weight like he should (he is in the 3rd % on the growth charts for his weight, is still below normal for his prealbumin and several other blood tests).
   
  I have been following with a doctor out of Ft. Myers, FL (I live in Naples), and would like a second opinion.  I have not been happy with my last few visits, or answers to my questions.  I am willing to travel to see another specialisit.  Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated.
