We have been buying and using Western Family packaged baking nuts for many years with no problems----and the Allergy Warning on the labels only said "processed in a facility that also processes other tree nuts." NOW----the new package we bought last night has an Allergy Warning that states may contain Peanuts, Soy, Wheat or other tree nuts!!! Western Family is the ONLY brand our ONE store in town carries----this is extremely frustrating and disheartening because now in order to use any nuts, I will have to pay more or special order through our local health food store or shop out of town. Because of this new label and the incredible sensitivity to gluten that my family has, I will no longer be able to use these nuts. I thought I would give everybody who has to rely on Western Family brand products a heads up!

I guess Western Family brand is not interested in Gluten Free---so now has a more revealing label that covers them for all the major allergens so they don't have to even try. Buying our GF food just got a WHOLE LOT more expensive and harder living where we do..........

Katie
