I recently booked a flight on United (www.united.com), and in my profile is
a request for a GF meal (drop-down menu option). When I called to request
an upgrade, I also asked the agent to confirm my GF meal. She informed me
that as of February, United no longer offers GF meals, as part of its
cost-cutting measures. So for an 8-hour flight to London, I get a fruit
plate... very frustrating. Be aware: bring your own food on United, or
choose another airline!

Thanks,
craig
