Dear all,

This week at the Redlands/San Bernardino/Riverside Celiac meeting
we discussed the question of whether celiac reaction could be caused
by eating the flesh of animals which had been fed wheat and other
grains.

Some people in the group reported reacting to grain-fed beef but not
reacting to grazed, grass-fed beef. Also, one woman reported reaction
to U.S. lamb, but no reaction to grass-fed New Zealand lamb.

Many people in the group have different allergies and sensititities
besides celiac, so the question arose as to whether these reactions
were to gluten or to some other factor.

Does anyone have any resources or experience in this regard.

Thanks.

Bob
