Hi

Does anyone no of any research about the Irish potato famine 1845 and
celiac disease. I understand that in 1845 the government supplimented
the diet with American corn and there was no deaths related to
starvation. In 1846 the government changed and the soup kitchens began
serving a soup with wheat added. The death toll due to malnutrition
related diseases rose steadily.

Thanks Patricia
