A few weeks ago my celiac son had an unfortunate incident at the Maggiano's
Italian Restaurant in Tyson's Corner, VA. Later we talked to the manager
and he was very apologetic; all has been generously smoothed over thanks to
his wonderful help. But, he is not real savvy on the celiac issue. If
there is someone from a celiac support in No. VA, or who lives near any of
their other restaurants throughout the US, I ask you to please drop by and
chat with the manager about the disease. Also, mention to them about
Outback Steakhouse, TGI Fridays, Tony Roma's and other nation-wide chains
who have been so good to identify menu items that are gf. These folks seem
very open to customer satisfaction; they encourage us to bring in our own
pasta and breads on a return visit. I have NO complaint with them, but
simply want to take advantage of an educational opportunity on behalf of all
of us. I'd love to hear your success story! FYI, their website is:
www.maggianos.com

ps. I have no financial interest with this company!
