Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share with you a great dining experience at BRAVO! Cucina
Italiana at North Lake Mall. The mall was a midpoint to meet a friend for
dinner and a movie. I scoped out the restaurant situation ahead of time,
as I had not been to the mall area to dine. The day before I circled the
mall and Bravo was the only restaurant I could see, not realizing the
detached strip shopping areas had some restaurants. A little hesitant to
go in, because of my bad experience in Little Italy NY, I gave it a try. I
found Chefs Deacon and John incredibly accommodating and both said they
would work with me to make sure I had a safe and pleasant dining
experience. Chef Deacon even shared his own allergy challenges.

Speed forward to last night and all I can say is that my dining experience
ranks up there as #1 for restaurants that do not have a gluten-free menu.
I was greeted and helped by the manager, Barbara, personally. Barbara was
well aware of gluten intolerances and was able to make a wonderful
suggestion of Tilapia atop a bed of asparagus with a garlic buttery
flavor. I gave Barbara one of my folders of information for restaurant
managers, which explains all the details of celiac and our challenges. At
the end of the evening, I told Barbara I would add Bravo to my list of
restaurants on my web-site. Barbara told me corporate headquarters is
working on a gluten-free menu but maybe in the interim she could put
together a list of safe items.

Bravo” Cucina Italiana is a national chain, I think predominantly in the
Midwest or North so I think you should stop in and talk to the manager.
You may be in for a real treat! www.bestitalianusa.com
