Hello,

I have celiac, and I have a baby who is about to reach the age to start
solid foods. My pediatrician looked up recommendations about gluten and
babies (since celiac can run in families), but I wanted to see if any of
you had been given advice by any specialists.

I was told that she could eat anything until she was a few years old as
long as she has no symptoms and then could just be tested at that point.
I'm trying to decide if that is the best advice or if I should at least
maybe introduce gluten slowly so that I can closely monitor her for any
symptoms?

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

   Tiffany
