    For those who are using the NYC Informal Guide to celiac Living,
posted a weeks ago, please note the following urgent correction.

     SPICE CORNER STORE-MADE DESSERTS NOT GF
    In the Midtown Section, I list the refrigerated dairy-based,
store-made desserts (kalakand, chamcham, etc) at Spice Corner, 135
Lexington Avenue as being gluten-free. I just found out today that the
cook now dusts her hands with wheat flour to shape the desserts - it
used to be rice flour, but unfortunately she has adopted too many
American habits.

     This correction will be included in the coming update of the
guide, along with several new restaurants, etc.
     In the meantime, please do not eat these desserts.
