On a very recent show, Oprah's two guests were Jenny McCarthy & Holly
Robinson Peete. The segment with the 2 famous women talked about the fact that they
both have children with Autism. For summary, go to: www.oprah.com.

During the talk w/ Oprah, it was mentioned a Gluten Free Diet was also tried
with improvement shown.

There's two more items, one direct, one indirect that I want to mention in
case someone in this forum have children with Autism or know of someone...

1. My wife has a Gluten Free Bakery in Madison, WI. While she ships Fresh
Baked GF products to ALL U.S. Zip Codes, naturally there is a very large
population of Madison locals that shop the store. It's interesting that when you
overhear them talking to one another or they talk to us, several had already
mentioned this healthy link between Autism and a GF Diet. See The Silly Yak Bakery
selection at: www.sillyyakbakery.com/glutenfree.html

2. In the adjacent town of Fitchburg, there is the Integrative Hyperbaric
Chamber & they too work with children with Autism. A hyperbaric chamber could
best be explained by thinking of a SCUBA diver that comes up too fast from a
great depth and needs to go into a decompression chamber. Here's how you can
understand more about how this works:
www.wisconsinhyperbarics.com/benefits/benefits.html

I know this posting is a 'stretch' for the normal GF info passed along, but I
thought it might help someone out there.

Thank you & I apologize for being so long with this message.
